175 Young People Die

           Every Day

From Accidental Overdose

My 22 year old daughter, Hannah Dakota, was a student at UCSC, one quarter away from graduation. She died in the early morning hours of March 9, 2016 from causes relating to heroin use.

Heroin is a rapidly rising deadly epidemic among our youth from all parts of society. The user today is often an intelligent, vibrant young person.

Motivated by this terrible tragedy in our family, we have created this site as a resource for others to understand what those who are addicted, and the loved ones of those addicted, are going through, to raise an understanding of this addiction, and guide those in need towards treatment options.

Please volunteer or donate. By making a donation you will aid our mission to raise awareness of this epidemic; this will help people understand how to support their loved ones, as well as help make treatment readily available to those seeking it. OUR GOAL IS TO SAVE LIVES  more >

Please see our  ABOUT US  page to know our qualifications for analyzing and dissecting the research to bring you the  TRUTH ABOUT HEROIN. We believe that through awareness and education we can help SAVE LIVES.

AWARENESS

.

Hannah's tragic and untimely death has shaken our family in its deepest core. She was brilliant, talented and beautiful...and at 22 she is dead. Unfortunately we learned too little too late and wish to save other families the profound, permanent agony from needlessly losing a young child. Therefore we created the Hannah Dakota Memorial Fund. more >
