HELPING TO SAVE YOUNG LIVES
HANNAH DAKOTA FUND

HANNAH DAKOTA FUND is partnered with
In November, 2016, The Hannah Dakota Fund found the organization that meets all of our qualifications as regards principles and course of action in dealing with the heroin/opioid epidemic; in January 2017 we partnered with Truth Pharm, a 501c3 national advocacy non-profit organization.
Truth Pharm is located on the East Coast. While our preference was to find a West Coast affiliation (for logistics purposes), there is, no doubt, that Truth Pharm is our voice and we will bring it to the West Coast.
To get a glimpse of what Truth Pharm has done in just one year (back East) please go to www.TruthPharmWest.org. We are in the middle of rebuilding the website, so most of the information that is organized is on the TruthPharmwest.org site. The TruthPharm.org site will be merged with the "west" site soon.
We are very excited to be affiliated with an organization that is proactive, selfless, effective, and is bringing about measurable change in the face of the heroin epidemic. The process of bringing and implementing all of Truth Pharm's resources here to California will take time. We have already begun to assemble a West Coast cluster of advocates to change communities' responses to the opioid epidemic. In fact, Torrance Memorial Hospital is implementing a "Narcotics Task Force." The goal is to save lives in the face of the opioid/heroin epidemic with a multi-faceted approach. I will be one of the speakers at its first Outreach event addressing the opioid epidemic on January 18, 2017. I will also be speaking at the Thelma McMillen Center, its associated outpatient treatment facility.
